Leadership in Action
Our students not only dream big, but also learn the tools to contribute meaningful and innovative solutions in their communities. Read some of their stories below.
Leading the way
At the Girl Scouts of Northern California Lead the Way conference, Miss CEO Ambassadors Laila Tantawy, Azra Emekci, Anoushka Chakravarty, Nina Khanna, and Saanvi Bapat taught students how to communicate effectively and create a lasting impression in academic and professional settings.
Paving it forward
Miss CEO high school intern Sumayyah Ismail moderated an industry leader panel at The Tech's Pave It Forward Luncheon, featuring Accenture COO Kate Hogan, Pinterest CFO Julia Brau Donnelly, ServiceNow Chief Equity and Inclusion Officer Karen Pavlin, and GitLab CTO Sabrina Farmer. With remarkable eloquence, wit, and composure, Sumayyah skillfully facilitated the discussion and left a lasting impression on a diverse audience of leaders, innovators, and students. We are so proud of Sumayyah and all of our students who leverage the leadership skills we teach at Miss CEO to make a positive impact in the world.
Empowering future community leaders
Inspired by what she learned from Miss CEO, Pranavi Kethanaboyina launched a successful six-week leadership workshop series for the young women in her hometown of Gilroy, California.
Helping others find their voice
As a result of Miss CEO's training and mentorship, Carol Gao developed an effective coaching plan for her Middle School Speech and Debate club. Carol was nominated for the prestigious Westly Prize in recognition of her efforts.
Promoting safety and well-being in schools
