Lynette Tran
Lynette Tran is a current junior at University Preparatory Academy (UPA). Involvement in her community is something that Lynette highly values. Her pride in her Vietnamese heritage sparked her desire to join UPA’s VSA back in 2022, and since then, she has become highly involved as its past publicist and current president. To promote inclusivity and diversity within her school, Lynette has hosted fundraisers to organize traditional dances and to execute events celebrating cultural holidays like Tet (Vietnamese New Years) or Mid Autumn festival. As its former Area 7 Secretary and the current vice president of her home club, Lynette is also avidly involved in Interact where she has collaborated with non-profits, like the Wishing Crane Project, to find and give +500 hours of volunteering service to her club members. Through her new role as UPA's National Honor Society president, Lynette's goal this year is to revive her school's chapter and bring Miss CEO to UPA's middle and high school girls. For fun, Lynette likes to spend time in downtown San Jose with her friends at the library or taste testing all the local snacks. As a 2024-2025 ambassador, Lynette is excited to expand Miss CEO's reach on social media and within her own community!
