Program Details

Would you like to spend a weekend with Miss CEO learning how to design, plan and execute high-impact projects starting today? During the Miss CEO Leadership Bootcamp, 25 high school girls will have the opportunity to receive in-depth training, 1:1 mentorship from expert Stanford instructors and exclusive access to an influential network of women leaders and premier resources.

Enrollment for the 2017 Miss CEO Leadership Bootcamp is currently open. The program will run from November 4th-5th, 9am-3pm. In order to ensure a quality experience for our participants, we are limiting registration and encourage prospective candidates to submit their applications as soon as possible. Applications are due no later than October 22nd, and acceptances will be offered on a rolling basis.   • Short Summary

    What:

    The unique opportunity to successfully design and execute near-term projects and learn leadership skills directly from expert Stanford instructors. Develop critical skills such as effective goal setting, stretching yourself, learning from failure, working in teams, design thinking, and effective communication.

    To empower yourself to take on ambitious projects and goals and make meaningful impact within the upcoming year.

  • What to Expect

    Be prepared to discover your inner leader while spending a weekend with Miss CEO, learning and being inspired by some of the Bay Area's most influential and prominent female leaders and role models. Our instructors will personally guide and help you transform key leadership concepts into results that will benefit your near-term academic or personal projects. In addition to building an essential leadership toolkit, you will have the opportunity to build long-lasting relationships with other promising young women from all over the Bay Area and develop your own network which will no doubt benefit you for years to come. At the end of the weekend, you will receive an official Miss CEO Certificate of Completion that demonstrates your creative leadership ability, initiative, and dedication to your goals.

  • Agenda

    Each day of the program will feature classroom instruction, breakout sessions, lunch, project and activity time, as well as an opportunity to hear and interact with prominent guest speakers and women leaders from various fields.

  • Location

    The Miss CEO Leadership Bootcamp will be hosted at the Shriram Center for Bioengineering and Chemical Engineering at Stanford University.

  • Program Staff

    The Miss CEO Leadership Bootcamp will feature a superstar team of instructors, mentors, and career speakers who are passionate educators as well as accomplished leaders in their respective fields. The 2017 team will be led by Michaela Hinks, Maria Filsinger Interrante and Sarah Noll , who are excited to share their knowledge, time, and experiences with our students and support them on their leadership journey.

  • Tuition

    Tuition for the Miss CEO Leadership Bootcamp is $500.00 per student. This includes instruction, educational materials and resources, activities, lunch, and bringing in guest speakers. This does not include housing, cost of travel to and from campus, or spending money.

  • Financial Aid

    At Miss CEO our mission is to empower girls of all socio-economic backgrounds and we are proud to offer financial aid and scholarships for qualifying students. Aid is granted based upon need, as well as other factors including merit. Families who feel they cannot cover the full cost of tuition are encouraged to apply. The largest awards made assume full need but still require a minimum contribution from the family. Financial Aid requests are expected to far exceed the amount of funds available; therefore we cannot guarantee that the full amount requested will be met. A student's acceptance into the program will not be contingent on their financial aid request. Students will be notified of their aid award along with their letter of acceptance.   • Cancellation Policy

    Cancellations prior to October 4, 2017 will qualify for a 90% tuition refund. Cancellations prior to October 14th will qualify for a 50% tuition refund. Refunds will not be available within three weeks from the start of the program.

  • Application Process

    In order to offer an intimate and inspiring learning environment where students can receive special one-on-one instruction and mentorship, we require all prospective Leadership Bootcamp students to submit the online application below in order to be qualified for participation in the program. To ensure a spot in the program, we encourage students to apply as soon as possible. Once the program is full, applications will proceed to a waiting list.
